Bartow - Nila J. Garrett, age 87, passed away on October 21, 2025, at Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale. She was born on October 10, 1938, in Bartow, FL. She was a Homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, shopping, reading and traveling. She is survived by her son Brian Garrett (Wendi) of Bartow, daughter Kimberly Hendrick (Paul) of Bartow, grandson Zachary Hendrick, granddaughter & best friend Jillian Hendrick, great grandchildren Zhane Hendrick, Eli Hendrick & Nyla Hendrick, sister Beverly Hall and numerous nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
