Nick Henderson

Plant City, FL - Nick Henderson , age 80, passed away March 13, 2024, at his residence. He was born on February 3, 1944, in Athens, AL. Nick was a decorated Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and after leaving the Corps, he rejoined his family in Plant City, FL. He later moved to Lakeland, FL and began his career with IMC (Mosaic). He retired as a Chief Process Operator in 2010 after thirty years of service with the company. He enjoyed reading, boating, and trips to the casino but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Eula Henderson and sister Rachel Henderson. He is survived by his family that includes his sisters Ann Henderson and Melissa Henderson Newton of Plant City, his daughter Kristina Goodison of Lakeland, grandchildren Parker and Davis and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and loved ones at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL for a celebration of Nick’s life on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
