Nhot Champavannarath

Bartow – Nhot Champavannarath, 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Bartow on August 21, 2025. She was born on August 10, 1937, in Laos. A devoted homemaker, Nhot found joy in cooking and caring for her beloved grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thong Champavannarath and son Bountam Champavannarath. Nhot is survived by her seven children: daughters Kham Seger (Gene) and Bounnem Soukhavong of Bartow; Maneerat Wongves (Thailand), Molly Thammavongsa, and Many Champavannarath of Lakeland; Von Inthavong (Nokham) of North Carolina; and son Kon Champavannarath (Miranda) of Bartow. She is also lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at McLeod Memorial Presbyterian Church, with interment to follow at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland.
