Nellie R. Guthrie

Nellie R. Guthrie 79 of Eagle Lake passed away Thursday, September 22,2011 at the Winter Haven Hospital. Born in Coffe County, AL on September 8, 1932 she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God in Eagle Lake and also a Charter member of Christian Education Foundation at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald E. Guthrie and is survived by two daughters Teresa Nickels and husband William of Durant, OK and Anita Leach of Eagle Lake. Stepdaughter Diane Freudenberg and husband Jim of Largo, FL. Stepson Danny Guthrie and wife Betty of Brinson, GA. Two sisters Hazel Daniel of Kingston, TN and Mary Pittman of Eagle Lake. Eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 27th at 6pm at the First Assembly of God in Eagle Lake.
