Palm Coast -Nancy J. Birkhead , age 58, passed away on February 4, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital in Daytona Beach. She was born on August 9, 1966, in Bartow, FL . She worked as a History Professor, at Daytona State College She enjoyed travelling, local historical society’s and above all, her cats. She was preceded in death by her parents W.H. and Lavon and sister Sandra Duke. She is survived by her husband Michael Birkhead of Palm Coast, her brother Bill and family, and sister Susan and family. Family will receive friends Friday, February 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Gandy Cemetery, Connersville.
