Myrtle Frances Matthews

Myrtle Frances Matthews, 92, of Fort Meade, FL, passed away, April 25, 2013. She was born on October 15, 1920 in Caruthersville, MO. She was member of the Fort Meade First Baptist Church. Frances was preceded in death by her husband; Norman Matthews Sr, son; Norman Matthews Jr, daughter; Norma Crews and grandson; Eugene Brown. She is survived by a loving family two daughters; "Susie" Gregg (Meb) of Jonesboro, AR., Darla R. Townsend (David) of Fort Meade, FL. Four Sons; Clark "Corky" Matthews, Sr., Paul W Matthews (Leta) and Dale E Matthews all of Fort Meade, FL. One Brother; Cleo Anderson of St.Louis, MO. 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. The Family will recieve friends Monday, April 29, 2013 from 10 to 11 am at the First Baptist Church in Fort Meade. Service will follow at 11:00 am, April 29, 2013 at the First Baptist Church. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.Contrubutions to Florida Baptist Childrens Home.
