Myrtle Louise Griffin

Bartow - Myrtle Louise Griffin, 83, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016. She was born October 9, 1932 in Wimauma, Fl. She was a lifelong resident of Bartow. She was a Supervisor of Records for the Bartow Police Department for over 36 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Griffin, Parents, John & Lessie McDuffie, Brothers & Sisters, Clarence McDuffie, Dorothy Radford, Lillian Bryant, John McDuffie, Winnifred Griner. She is survived by her daughter Gail Frankenburger & husband Pat, and her son Joe Griffin of Bartow. Five Grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Two sisters, Vivian Albritton of Fort Meade and Ila Wiggins of Bartow, Brother, Bob McDuffie & wife Shirley of Fort Meade. Numerous nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Friday, June 24, 2016 at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home with Ryan Wiggins officiating. Burial will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
