Murray F. Gay

Murray F. Gay, Jr., age 85 and Bartow resident, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2015 in Bartow. Born January 10, 1930 in Palm Beach County, he was the son of the late Murray F. and Eunice Maud Gay. Murray was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He spent the majority of his working life in the agricultural industry as a fertilizer sales representative, including 34 years with Grower's Fertilizer. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bartow. Mr. Gay is preceded in death by a son Michael Gay. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of 25 years, Judy Gay of Bartow, his son Larry Franklin Gay (Tina) of Plant City, his daughter Lisa Ann Gay (Sherri) of Reston, VA, and his grandson Jarrod Gay. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church of Bartow at 11:00am.
