Monica Villanueva

Bartow – Monica Villanueva passed away, Tuesday, March 12th, 2019. She was born in Santiago, Chile and immigrated to the United States in 1979. She worked as a translator for the state of Florida and Polk County Sheriff’s Department. She was a beautiful, loving and devoted wife, mother, best friend and trusted confidant to many. She is survived by her husband; Claudio Villanueva of Bartow, two daughters; Amy Parkins and husband Chad of Bartow, Angie Strickland and husband Tal of Niceville, son; David Villanueva & wife Kristin of St. Petersburg, and three grandchildren; Alexis, Evan and Liam.
