Milton W. "Buster" Bryan, Jr., age 85, passed away from heart failure on July 16, 2012 at his home in Bartow. Born July 29, 1926 in Tampa, he was the son of the late Milton Whitfield and Pansy (Tyner) Bryan. Mr. Bryan has been a Bartow resident since 1964. He was a dairy farmer and cattle rancher. He also owned and operated the Feed Depot in Bartow for many years. Mr. Bryan was a member of the First Assembly of God of Bartow where he was a former deacon, choir member and Sunday school teacher. He belonged to the Polk County Cattlemen's Association, Polk County Farm Bureau, and was a member of the First Police Department of Pinellas Park. Mr. Bryan is survived by his wife, of 62 years, Betty Jean Miller Bryan of Bartow, a daughter Beverly Jean Prevatt (Ron) of Bartow, four sons; Milton W. "Mitty" Bryan (Margean) of Alturas, Robert Eugene Bryan of Bartow, Raymond Whitfield Bryan (Tanya) of Fort Kent, Maine, and David Wayne Bryan (Kim) of Lakeland. He also leaves behind a brother James Wallace Bryan (Peggy) of Tarpon Springs, 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 19th from 10AM to11AM at the First Assembly of God of Bartow, 915 South Broadway Ave. in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM at the church.
