Mildred E. Thrailkill

Mildred E. Thrailkill, 91, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Rohr Nursing Home in Bartow of heart failure. Born August 2, 1922 in Alexander City, AL, Mrs.Thrailkill was a resident of Bartow for Bartow 75 years, moving from Plant City, . She was employed with Lake Garfield Citrus Co-op for over 33 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Garfield, in which she was very active for many years. Mrs Thrailkill was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Charles W. Thrailkill. She is survived by one son: Charles W "Sonny" Thrailkill & wife Rhonda, Bartow; a daughter: Linda Sherrer & husband Red, Bartow; sister: Marie Williams, Plant City; 3 grandchildren; Jillian Thrailkill, Michael & Scott Sherrer; 5 great grandchildren: Hunter, Payten, Katie, Cody & Sarah. Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Contributions may be made the the First Baptist Church of Lake Garfield.
