Mildred E. Pepper

Mildred E. Pepper, age 77, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Bartow. Born January 20, 1939 in Jackson, MS, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Mildred Aylward Lancaster. Mrs. Pepper worked for many years in the healthcare industry as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband, of 54 years, Horace Pepper of Bartow, her daughter Nell P. Smith (Walter) of Fort Meade, and two grandchildren: Marcus Smith, and Ben Smith (Bre). She also leaves behind six siblings: Wilene, Dennis, Travis, Annette, Carolyn and Dean. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 2pm to 4pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Graveside services will follow Monday, July 18, 2016 at 10:00am at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
