Mildred Juanita Laferney

Mildred Juanita LaFerney, age 93, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023. She was born February 20, 1930 in Hornersville , MO to Alvie & Opal Southard. Mildred worked as a Custodian for Beecher Community School District in Michigan. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. She was preceded in death by her brothers Darrell Southard and Gene "Sonny" Southard. Mildred is survived by her husband of 62 years Gerald D. LaFerney of Fort Meade, daughters Amber J. LaFerney of Fort Meade, Susan Dobbs of Fenton, MI and Annette Goss of Flint, MI, sons Steve LaFerney of Holly, MI, Ronnie G. LaFerney of Holly, MI and Michael Goss of Fort Meade, sisters Peggy Hicks of Fort Meade and Kathy Jackson of Paw Paw, MI, brother Larry Southard of Bangor, MI.
