Miguel Angel Carrero

Winter Park - Miguel Angel Carrero, age 92, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024. He was born June 22, 1932 in Tovar, Venezuela to Cristobol & Teodora Carrero. He was a member of Phi Psi National Textile Fraternity at Auburn University, where he graduated with his Engineering Degree. Miguel was a Aerospace Engineer for NASA for 20 years. He also was a School Teacher. Miguel is survived by his wife of 62 years Jean Putnel Carrero of Winter Park, FL, two daughters Teodora "Tia" Taccia & husband Thomas of Edmond, OK and Jeanie Barker & husband Jamie of Winter Springs, FL, son Clifton Miguel "Mike" Carrero & wife Kathy of Titusville, FL, sister-in-law Joanna Messer of Fort Myers, FL and brother-in-law C. Wayne Putnel of Marion, KY, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family will receive friends 10:00 am to 10:30 am Saturday, November 16, 2024 at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade, FL. Funeral service will follow Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 10:30 am at McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL. Our Family is grateful for the support and care provided by the Advent Health Hospice Care Team in Orlando.
