Michael V. O'Neal

Michael V. O'Neal, age 61, passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 23, 2015. Mike was born on January 1, 1954 in Hamilton, Ohio. He was a longtime resident of Bartow and a Baptist. He worked for many years at Mid Florida Lumber Acquisitions, at the Bartow Airbase, where he was a designing engineer and manager. Mr. O'Neal's passing was preceded by a precious daughter to him and his wife Dawn, Kristen Michelle O'Neal. Mike is survived by his wife of 19 years, Dawn O'Neal of Bartow, his children, Brian Herrera (Cara) of Bartow, Elizabeth Royer (Kyle) of Lakeland. his three grandchildren, Conor, Alyssa, Brody and was expecting his fourth grandchild later this summer. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Mary Coburn of Lakeland along with many dear friends and family at Mid Florida Lumber Acquisitions. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 11am to 1pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow.
