Michael D. Hartnett

Bartow- Michael D. Hartnett, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in Bartow. Born September 12, 1946 in Miami Beach, FL, he was the son of the late Richard J. and Wrenita (Sparks) Hartnett. Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Hartnett retired from the Polk County Appraiser's Office as the Real Estate Director after many years of service. He is survived by his siblings: Judy Griffin (Jim) of Tampa. Nancy Gordon (Philip) of Thompsons Station, TN, Mary Westerman (David) of Darien, GA, and Patrick Hartnett (Mona) of Plant City. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. A celebration of Michael's life will be held at a later date.
