Bartow - Michael W. Brown, age 73, passed away on April 30, 2025, at Bartow Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 24, 1952, in Arjay, KY. He worked as a Correctional Probation Officer. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints . He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, gardening, and metal work. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Twinkle Brown, daughter Amber Isabelle Brown and son Keth Fletcher. He is survived by his son Casey Brown (Teri) of Knoxville, TN, daughters Deborah Butler (Robert) of Acworth , GA & Sonja S Pratt (Dan) of Bartow, sisters Barbara Adkins of Lake Panasoffkee, Sonya Clark of Bessemer, AL & Yvonne Smith of Pineville, KY, brother David Giles of Arjay, KY, grandchildren David, Matthew (Jenn), Austin, Haley, Sean, Alyx, Ashley and great grandchildren Kaizley, Kaliah, Adilynn, Emery, Damian & Da'Von. Family will receive friends Friday, May 9, 2025 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 9, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
