Melba Jean Beam

Bartow - Melba J. Beam, age 52, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital. Born April 9, 1968 in Bartow, the daughter of Jimmy and Sylvia Choate Richardson. Melba was a lifelong resident of Bartow. She attended the Lake Buffum Baptist Church. Melba was survived by a loving family including her husband of 32 years, Charles L Beam, Jr., Bartow; a daughter: Rebecca J. Beam, her son: Justin L. Beam; two sisters: Mary Jo Jerkins & Melodie Driggers; her mother: Sylvia Richardson, all of Bartow, and five grandchildren. Proceeded in death by her Daddy Jimmy Richardson. Family will receive friends Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at McLean Funeral Home, 605 E. Broadway, Fort Meade. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, March 5, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Joshua Creek Cemetery, Arcadia.
