May Flanagan

Mrs. May Flanagan, age 65, passed away from cancer Saturday February 23, 2008 at home in Winter Haven. Born October 6, 1942 in White Plains,New York, she had lived in Polk County for the past 26 years. Mrs. Flanagan had formerly worked for Mountain Bell Telephone Co. as an Estimator. More recently, she had worked at First Union Bank in Winter Haven. She was a member of the Moose Lodge of Winter Haven. She was also Catholic and an avid Bingo player. She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband, Gary Robert "Bob" Flanagan, her daughter Debi Corley (Brian) of Winter Haven, her son Robert Senita (Janine) of Strawberry AZ, a sister, Jeanna Perkinpine (Bob Smith) of Sherman, CT, a brother Frank Ackley of Floral City and four grandchildren; Kristina Bentley, Nicole Bentley both of Winter Haven, Jesse Senita and Alyssa Senita both of Strawberry, AZ. A memorial service for Mrs. Flanagan will be held Thursday February 28, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church 532 Ave. M, N.W. in Winter Haven. The family would like offer their gratitude to Good Shepherd Hospice for their service and support during this time.
