Maximilian Smith

Maximilian "Max" Smith, age 52 of Lake Wales, Fl. passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, in Lakeland. Max was born on July 3, 1970, in Detroit, MI. Max served in the U.S. Army and was Honorably Discharged. Max received his Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. He worked as a Criminal Defense and Family Law Attorney for over twenty years. Max is preceded in death by his Mother Eloise Smith, Brother Alex Smith and Father in-law Robert Trent. He is survived by his wife Jennifer Smith, sons Maximilian Smith Jr. and Roman Smith, Janet Trent of Lakeland, and Sherry and Don Belew of St. Louis, Mo. The family and friends will meet on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, for visitation at 10am and Funeral services with Military Honors will immediately follow at 11:00 am at the Bartow Church of God, 1460 E. Stuart St., Bartow, Fl. Interment and Committal will commence at 10:00am on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd. 72,
