Mattie J. Vieth

Bartow - Mattie J. Vieth, age 89, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the Rohr Nursing Home in Bartow. Born Saturday, August 1, 1925 in Wakulla, Florida, Mrs. Vieth was a resident of Polk County for many years, She was a member of the McLeod Memorial Presbyterian Church where she was very active in the church nursery and women's group for many years. Ms. Vieth was preceded in death by her daughter: Linda Vieth. She was survived by two sons: Karl Vieth of Bartow and Kurtis Vieth of Lakeland, three daughters: Betty Rehberg and Patty McIntosh, both of Bartow, and Luana Vieth-Athnos of Lake Wales, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 16, 2014, at 1:00 PM at the McLeod Memorial Presbyterian Church, 695 W. Stuart Street, Bartow.
