Mattie Edith Pridgen

Mattie Edith Pridgen, age 91, passed away December 30, 2022, in Lakeland. Born May 3,. 1931 in Alma, GA, she was the daughter of the late Washington Colquitt Hesters and Stella Lois (Shannon) Hesters. Mrs. Pridgen worked as a Key Punch Operator for Gulf Life Insurance for many years. She was a Baptist. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Mose S. Pridgen. She is survived by a loving family that includes her daughter Shirley Fulford and husband, Wayne of Bartow, her sister Ruth Riggins of Falls Church, VA, her grandsons: Jason W. Fulford, Kevin Fulford, and Shelley D. Mount and husband Jeremy along with six great granndchildren.
