Mary Jo Singleton, 86, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Mary Jo was born October 12, 1931 to Vella Grace and Charles Arthur Hall in Tampa, Florida. Mary Jo was a homemaker and an elementary school teacher. She attended First Baptist Pine Hills and served as a Sunday School teacher for over 30 years. She served as a board member of the Pine Hills and Forrest Park Women’s Clubs. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Charles Hall, her sister Lanilta Esser, and three nephews. She is survived by her ex-husband and life long friend William B. Singleton. Her son Brad Singleton and his wife Cindy of Apopka FL. Her daughter Christy Seward and her husband Art of Orlando, FL. Her daughter Grace Failmezger and her husband Gene of Sumter SC. Grandchildren: Melissa (Robbie) Hendley, Kyle Lehigh, Trey Singleton, Parker Singleton, Landon (Tiffany) Bradshaw, Amanda (Miguel) Ramos, James (Heather) Bradshaw, Joey (Kim) Barkley, Billy (Shauni) Barkley, Elizabeth (Alex) Russo, Cindy Seward, Sandra (Harry) Mosely, William (Cheryl) Seward, James (Tammy) Seward, Megan (Tim) Martin and 21 Great grandchildren. Visitation is from 9:30 to 10:30 am on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow Florida. Graveside service immediately following the visitation at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow Florida.
