Mary Ruth Byrd Robinson

Bartow - Mary Ruth Byrd Robinson, 68, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Bartow Regional Medical Center from heart failure. She was born September 23, 1946 in Coffee County, AL. She retired as Supervisor of Court Process for the Polk County Sheriff's Office. She was a member of Bethany Freewill Baptist of Eaton Park and was devoted to the Women's Auxillary at her church. Mary is preceded in death by her parents John & Mary Byrd, husband Dalis Robinson and sister Betty Johnson. She is survived by daughter Cindy Powell (Mike) of Lakeland, two sisters Shirley Childs of Avon Park and Annette Reed (Larry) of Frostproof. Three brothers Charles Byrd (Carolyn) of Leesburg, Larry Byrd (Paula) and Neal Byrd (Cindy) both of Frostproof. Grandson Austen Marlow (Kayla) and great granddaughter Raelynn Aubrey Marlow both of Lakeland. Five nieces and five nephews, along with seven great nephews and two great nieces. Family will receive friends Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 6 - 8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at 11:00 am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
