Mary O. Martin

Mary O Martin, age 79, died Sunday, September 9, 2012, due to complications of a stroke at Palm Terrace of Lakeland. Born December 15, 1932 in Jacksonville, FL. Mrs. Martin attended public schools in Fort Meade, moving to Homeland with husband in 1950. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist of Homeland and Polk County Historical Society She is preceded in death by her husband; Robert E. "Bob" Martin and daughter: Jean Brown. She is survived by two daughters: Joy Cantwell & husband William of Savannah, GA and Jan Fussell & husband Herman of Englewood, FL; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 12, 2012, 6-8 PM, at McLean Funeral Home, Fort Meade. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 AM, September 13, 2010 at the First Baptist Church, 208 Church St, Homeland. Interment will follow at Homeland Cemetery,
