Mary J. Love

Mary Jeanine Jones Love, age 85, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024. She was born April 23, 1939, in Bartow, Florida to Albert and Frances Jones. She graduated from the Summerlin Institute in 1956. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Vernon Love (2018). Mary was a Nursing Home Administrator for over forty years working in Florida and other states. She is survived by her daughters Cynthia Love, Linda Purnell, Beverly Slack (Terry) and Susan Kirkland (Tommy). Her Grandchildren are Jason Schoenholz (Lisa), Melissa Kanatzar (Rod), Julie Schoenholz, Brittany Purnell, Brandy Abernathy (Mike), Bryan Purnell, Melissa Baumuller, Alicia Miller (Fred), Amanda O’Banion (Tim), Emily Harrison (Eric), and Farrah Loyed. She also had many great grandchildren that were loved by her. Her siblings were Glenn Frances Jones, Ronald Earl Jones who preceded her in death. Edward Richard Jones lives in Bartow, FL. Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, June 18, 2024, for visitation and 11:00 am for the Funeral Service at Whidden- McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main Street, Bartow, Florida.
