Mary Lou Olson

Bartow - Mary Lou Olson, age 89, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at her home in Bartow. Born June 1, 1932, in Kenova, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Leland A. and Virginia Earlena (Pinson) Daniels. Mary Lou retired from the Polk County Clerk of the Courts Office after many years as a Deputy Clerk. She was a member of the United Community Church in Bartow. She is survived by a loving family that includes her children: Richard Olson (Elaine) of Eagle Lake, Jody L. Mabe (Mike) of Lakeland, her sister, Margaret West (Jack) of Coraopolis, PA, her grandchildren: Andrea L. Waters (Brian) of Bartow, Stephen Oakley also of Bartow and her great granddaughter, Hannah Lou. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July, 1st from 5pm to 6pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. A memorial service will follow at 6:00pm at the funeral home.
