Mary Erlene Hunt

Mary Erlene Hunt, age 75, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Bartow Regional Medical Center of renal failure. Born April 30, 1936 in Bartow, Mrs. Hunt was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She attended the Pentecostal Church of God. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years: General Lee Hunt, Jr. Mrs. Hunt was survived by a son: Gerad Hunt & wife Marilyn of Bartow; daughter: Misty D. Peacock & husband Douglas of Lakeland; sister-in-law; Doris Moore of Arcadia; grandchildren: Julia Karnes & husband Glenn; Tiffany Sackett & husband Brandon; Matthew Hunt; Samuel Peacock & Douglas Peacock, Jr.; great grandchild: Kelsey. Family will receive friends Friday, July 8, 2011, 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral , Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bartow Wildwood.
