Mary Denise Ethington

Mary Denise Ethington, 62, went to be with the Lord on the 1st of January, 2020, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was surround by her family as she entered into rest. Born on the 14th of September, 1957, in Bartow, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Shirley Burney Lambert , and the late Albert Myral Ethington. Mary Denise was loved by all she knew. She had a loving, kind, giving, and caring spirit. She always gave of herself and helped anyone in need. Her passion was for animals, helping as many as possible. Jiggy and Elvis were her sweet dogs, whom she loved fiercely. Mary Denise will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We take comfort in knowing she is safe in the arms of her Lord and Savior. She is survived by her daughter Shirlena L. Harrison ( Chris Harrison), 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Brothers Daniel M. Ethington( Susan Ethington), Donald A. Ethington ( Vangie Ethington), Dennis E. Ethington (Joy Ethington), Derrell J. Ethington (Connie Ethington), and by many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on the 18th of January, 2020, at 975 Wildwood Drive, Bartow, Fl. 33830, starting at 4pm. Memorial donations may be made to any animal shelter of your choice, in honor of her love for animals.
