Mary F. Elflein

Mary F. Elflein, age 96, of Bartow, died Saturday, September 11, 2010, at Spring Lake Nursing Center in Winter Haven. Born October 18, 1913 in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Elflein has been a resident of Bartow since 1984, moving from Long Island, NY. She was a accounting clerk for Hazelton Defense Contractor in Long Island for several years. She was a member of the Alturas United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 187, Long Island. She is survived by her daughter Jeanne Dunstane of East Stroudsburg, PA; 1 grandson: Norman Dunstane of East Stroudsburg, PA & 4 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 15, 2010, 6-8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bartow Wildwood Cemetery.
