Mary Lee Cregg

Mrs. Mary Lee Cregg, age 82, died Thursday, October 23, 2008 in Lakeland. Born January 28, 1926 in Wayne, West Virginia, Mrs. Cregg was a Registered Nurse and a homemaker. She was active within the Floral Lakes Community and was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Bartow. Mrs. Cregg is preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Green Walker and her second husband, Matt Cregg. She is survived by two sons; Larry Richard Walker of Bartow, Byron Lee Walker (Karen) also of Bartow, her daughter Sarah Catherine Cheek (Phil) of Stockbridge, GA, two step daughters; Pam Davis and Patsy Kautz both of St. Petersburg, and four grandchildren; Megan Catherine Walker, Taylor Andrew Walker, Bryce Alexander Walker and Victoria Leeann Walker. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home 650 East Main Street in Bartow where family will receive friends Monday Oct. 27th from 6 PM to 8 PM. Services for Mrs. Cregg will follow Tuesday Oct. 28th at 10 AM at the funeral home chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church P.O. Box 197, Bartow, FL 33831.
