Mary Houghton Conner

Mrs. Mary Houghton Conner, age 85, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 in North Carolina. Mrs. Conner was known best to her family and friends as "Mimi". She was born on December 24, 1925 in Fort Meade, FL. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clay "Ted" Conner. She is survived by a loving family that includes her daughter, Katherine Conner Flowers and husband Steve of Hampstead, NC, three grandchildren; Heather F. Greene and Nicole Flowers both of Charlotte, NC, and Stephen Flowers of Wilmington, NC. She also leaves behind three great grandchildren; Conner Greene, Nora Katherine Greene, and Bella Flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Care Center, 1406 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401. Graveside services for Mrs. Conner will be held Friday, December 9th at 11:00AM at Wildwood Cemetery, 1099 South Woodlawn Ave. in Bartow, Florida.
