Mary E. Bowman

Mary E. Bowman, age 87, of Florence, S.C., died Sunday, October 26, 2008, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, S.C. Born April 22, 1921 in Lancaster, Ohio, Mrs. Bowman has been a resident of Florence one year, moving from Bartow. Mrs. Bowman was employed with the Polk County Democrat for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy D. Bowman. She is survived by her two daughters: Jean & husband Bill Williams of Florence & Vivian & husband Carl Friesner of Lancaster, OH One son: Larry & wife Shirley Bowman of Round Rock, TX & 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren & 5 great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, Oct 30, 10-11 am at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 390 E. Parker St, Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11 am at the Church. Interment will follow at Bartow Wildwood Cemetery.
