Martha W. Turner

Martha W. Turner, 82, died on Oct. 1, 2008 at her home in Auburndale. Born in Chandler, OK on Dec. 24, 1925, she came to Auburndale from Rockville, MD in 2006. She was a retired Corporate Executive and Librarian, and a member of the First Baptist Church at the Mall. She was preceded in death by her husband James William Turner. She is survived by her daughter Jeannine Blair of Mount Airy, MD, two sons James Turner of Milwaukee, WI and Donald Turner of Lakeland. One sister, Ruth Ann Wilson of Harrah, OK and a one brother Richard C. Wilson of Minneapolis, MN, along with 7 grandchildren Elizabeth Zurn, Curtis Turner, Jennifer Lencioni, Christine Chenausky, Olivia Turner, Bill Turner, Lanee Turner and 5 great-grandchildren Jack Zurn, Lindsey Turner, Morgan Turner, and Marley Turner. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm Saturday, Oct. 4 at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Additional services will be held in Maryland.
