Martha Hughes

Fort Meade - Martha Hughes, age 82, passed away April 19, 2022, at Tampa General Hospital. She was born on October 4, 1939, in Wauchula, FL. She worked for Peace River Packing. She enjoyed spending time with her sister, dogs and watching game shows. She was preceded in death by her son Jerry Hughes and daughter Sharon Silicki. She is survived by a loving family that includes her sons Donnie Hughes and Ronnie Hughes, sister Ila Maxwell, 6 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and longtime companion Jim Mcgoldrick. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 5th at Blessed Assurance Temple, Bartow at 6:00 PM.
