Martha Toole Davidson, age 82, passed away on July 29, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale of congestive heart failure. Martha was born in Fort Valley, Georgia to George and Merryl Toole. She was a radiology technician during World War II. She graduated from Lake Wales High School in 1944, and married William G. Davidson in 1947. She was a former member and past president of the Bartow Garden Club, the Bartow Women's Club, and Bartow Art Guild. She was a florist with Linda's Floral Decor of Bartow. Martha was also known for her Halloween and Christmas art work in the windows of downtown Bartow. Mrs. Davidson is preceded in death by her husband William G. Davidson and son Michael Davidson. Survivors include: daughter Pam Wyant (Jack), daughter Pat Curry (John), daughter-in-law Judy Davidson, granddaughters Terri Collete, Jenny Davidson, Amanda Agnew (Jeff), Sara Van Hook (Blake), and Mary Wyant, grandsons Jacob Davidson and Michael Curry, great granddaughter Cadence Van Hook, great grandsons Shelby and William Satterfield, Michael Curry, Jr. and Cousin William Brake. Visitation will be held Friday, August 7th from 6pm to 8pm at the First United Methodist Church of Bartow, 455 South Broadway Ave. in Bartow.
