Jacksonville - Marsha Tanis, age 47, passed away January 1, 2022, at her residence in Jacksonville. She was born on July 11, 1974, in Winter Haven, FL. She was a Homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach and flowers. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and shopping. She was preceded in death by her aunt Brenda Burns and Grandmother Estella Crouch. She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband Jean-Berger Tanis, children Mikayla Tanis & Adian Tanis, sister Jessica Whitmire (George), brother Lance Laremore, father James Crouch (Bonnie), mother Linda Laremore, nephews Brenden Whitmire, Caleb Whitmire & Evan Whitmire, uncle Jerry Crouch, aunts Dorothy Lodge & Sheila Parker and stepmother Diane Lewellen. Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home.
