Marjorie Gay

Bartow - Marjorie Gay, age 80, passed away October 31, 2020 at Winter Haven Hospital. She was born November 30, 1939 in Attica, IN to the late James and Norma (Bacon) Scribner. She was an Accountant for the United States Government. She enjoyed watching birds and fishing, theater and reading. She also enjoyed taking part in the choir and handbells at church. She was survived by a loving family that includes her daughter Andrea Croom, sons David Gay & Francis Gay, sibling Jamie-Lynne Scribner, grandchildren Kaitlyn, Adrianna, Zachary, Jacob, Nico and Ian, great grandchild Hahli, aunt Marianne, several cousins and nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020, at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church of Bartow. Interment will be held in Muncie, IN at a later date. Memorials may be made to the National Federation of the Blind or the First United Methodist Church of Bartow.
