Marion E. West

Lakeland - Marion E. West, 90, passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 at his Residence. Mr. West was born Friday, April 22, 1921 in Florala, AL. Marion served in the US Army during WWII. He was a Buildings Permit Manager for Polk County. He was Baptist, a former Civitan member. Mr. West was survived by his Wife of 69 years Iris West of Lakeland. Two Daughters; Melinda Dollar of Lakeland and Margie Richbourg of Austin, AR. Three Grandchildren & five Great-Grandchildren. The Family will receive friends Thursday, Jan 5, 2012 from 1 to 2 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, Jan 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM Gandy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Salvation Army.
