Mrs. Marie Cribbs Cox, age 81, of Fort Meade, FL, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at her residence in Fort Meade, FL. Mrs. Cox was born April 1, 1927 in Colquitt, GA. She worked as a waitress most of her life and enjoyed being around people. She was a faithful member of First Church of God in Fort Meade. She is survived by her three Daughters, Mavis Farris & Husband Junior, Vickie Tillman & Husband Johnny all of Fort Meade, FL and Valerie Pollard of Lakeland, FL. Two Sons, Kenneth Pollard & Wife Libby of Bartow, FL and David Pollard & Wife Diane of Fort Meade, FL. One Sister, Hazel Greer of Fort Meade, FL. One Brother, Eddie A. Cribbs of Athens, TX. Eleven grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren and Two Great Great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL. The Family will receive friends from 4:00PM to 6:00PM on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at McLean Funeral Home, Ft. Meade, FL. The Service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, September 22, 2008 at the First Church of God, 215 South Perry, Fort Meade, FL. Rev. Travis Risner will be officiating.
