Lakeland - Marie "Claire" Zalanka, age 89, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024. She was born July 5, 1935 in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada to Arthur & Yvonne Michaud. She was a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant . She was Catholic. She was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Zalanka and brother Ronald Michaud. Claire is survived by her two sons Rick Zalanka & wife Diane of Lakeland and David Zalanka & wife Susan of Coral Springs, daughter Susan Clay & husband Shawn of Pocatello, ID, brother J.R. Michaud of Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, sister Norma Best of St. Petersburg, sister Barbara Hache of Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, five grandchildren, Joseph, Megan, Mathew, Alexander and Benjamin and one great grandchild, Savannah.
