Marian Baggett Myers

Marian Baggett Myers, 90, of Shiloh, NC died Monday, April 22, 2013 Elizabeth City, NC. She was born in Bowling Green, FL, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Leneta Hancock Baggett and was the wife of the late William J. Myers. Mrs. Myers was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Florida State Fireman’s Auxiliary. She had also been a Girl Scout Leader. Mrs. Myers is survived by a daughter, Lillian M. Hurdle of Shiloh, NC; a sister, Jean McKee of Lakeland, FL; two grandchildren, Lance Beckett and wife Tina of Knoxville, TN and Cynthia Overman and husband Mark of Shawboro, NC; and four great-grandchildren, Sanders Overman, Alyson Overman, Lilliann Beckett and William Cole Beckett. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, William J. Myers, Jr.; a sister, Evelyn Sabin; and a brother, Elvis Baggett. Memorial Graveside Service will be held 10:00 am on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
