Maria Teresa Palacio Hamlen Kelly Nobo, 88, of Bartow, died Sunday, November 22, 2009, at Savannah Court in Bartow. Born July 5, 1921 in Havana, Cuba, she was the daughter of Richard Palacio Kelly & Maria Elena Hamlen Borrell. She was a member of Saint Thomas Catholic Church, Bartow. She was preceded in death by her husband: Dr. Rafael J. Nobo, Sr. and her daughter: Maria Nobo Garcia. She is survived by her son: Dr. Ralph J. Nobo, Jr & his wife Laura Carrero Nobo of Bartow. 7 grandchildren: Mario Rafael Garcia; Brian Garcia; Anna Garcia Barravecchio; Elena Garcia Lazaro all of Tampa; Rafael J. Nobo III of Orlando; Christopher Nobo of Tampa; Laura Nobo Davis of Jacksonville, & 11 Great grandchildren; cousin: Rebecca Hamlen Perez & husband Jesus Perez of Bartow A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, November 24, at 11:00 am at Saint Thomas Catholic Church, 2180 S. Kissingen Ave, Bartow with Father Peter Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
