Marge Stratton

Mrs. Marge Stratton passed away from respiratory failure, Tuesday, August 14, 2007 in Bartow. She was 75. Born March 18, 1932 in Vinton County, OH, Mrs Stratton was the daughter of the late Floyd and Ellen McGlothin. She was a homemaker and also served as the secretary and treasurer for Stratton Engineering. Mrs. Stratton is preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Stratton and is survived by a loving family that includes a son, Donald H. Stratton (Mary) of Bartow, a daughter, Stephanie Geohagan (Keith) of Charlotte, NC, a surrogate daughter, Joanie Baker (Greg) of Bartow, and a sister Patricia Crossley (Pete). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Kimberly Hidle (Kit), Michael Stratton (Camille), Steven Geohagan, Corey Geohagan, Katie Geohagan, and two surrogate grandchildren Courtney Baker and Kyle Baker, along with 6 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Stratton will be Thursday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street, Bartow. Services will follow Friday, August 17, 2007 at 3:00 PM at the funeral home chapel. Memorial Contribution may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823.
