Margaret E. Mcgowan

Fort Meade - Margaret Rhoden McGowan, age 87, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Life Care Center of Altamonte Springs. She was born December 10, 1927 in West Frostproof, FL, Margaret was a lifelong resident of Fort Meade. She was a Homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. She is survivied by two daughters, Linda Hainley of Jacksonville, FL and Josephine "Joey" E. Maddy of Sanford, FL Three sons, Michael J McGowan, John McGowan and Craig McGowan all of Sanford, FL. Seventeen grandchildren and thirty-five great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 2 to 3 pm at Lake Buffum Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm at Lake Buffum Baptist Church.Burial will be held at Lake Buffum Cemtery.
