Margaret E. Campbell

Margaret Eleanor Shafer Campbell, 98 of Fort Meade, died Aug 10, 2009 at her home in Fort Meade, FL. Born April 29, 1911 to the late James W. and Martha (Mattie) Shafer of Nelsonville, Ohio, Mrs. Campbell was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Nelsonville. She was employed for several years with Archway Bakery of Ashland, OH. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, quilting, boating & fishing. Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband Donald H. Campbell and a son, Charles E. Campbell. Survivors include a daughter, Martha Platt of Murphy, NC; three sons: John D. Dan Campbell and wife Joyce of Fort Meade; James C. Campbell and wife Kathy of Ravenna, OH; and Donald D. Campbell and wife Joyce of Spring Hill, FL; brother Robert L. Shafer of Nelsonville, OH; three sisters: Ruth Brooker; Vera Newman & June Hoce all of Nelsonville. 12 grandchildren & 16 great grandchildren. Visitation: Saturday, Aug 15, 10-11 am at McLean Funeral Home, Fort Meade. Services following at 11 am at the funeral home.
