Margaret Lee Boren

Margaret Lee Boren, age 85, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023. She was born June 23, 1938 in Gallatin, TN, She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bartow. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Boren and son Bobby Boren, Jr. She is survived by her son Andrew Boren & wife Priscilla of Bartow, daughter Lee Anne Zingarelli & husband Jim of Lakeland, two grandchildren Andy Boren and Ashlee Zingarelli. Margaret graduated from Gallatin High School in 1956. During her High School years she was a member of the Glee Club, language club, FHA, and the All state chorus. Margaret and Bob moved to Florida in the late 1950’s, where she began her long and devoted career at Citrus & Chemical Bank in 1960. She became a Vice President of the bank, and retired in 2007 after fulfilling 47 beautiful years with her C & C family. Margaret was a member of the Cricket Club, Zonta Club, alumni of Bartow Leadership, and a member of the National Society for Daughter’s of the American Revolution. She was also a member of the Alpha Beta Sigma PHI sorority. Margaret loved life, her family, and her friends. She will always be remembered for her willingness to help others and serve the Lord. Her fun loving, and thankful spirit will always be in our hearts. Family will receive friends Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Church, 355 S Florida Ave in Bartow.
