Margaret E. Altman

Bartow - Margaret E. Altman, age 92, passed away on January 31, 2026, at Spring Lake Nursing Center in Winter Haven. She was born on July 9, 1933, in Bartow, FL. She was an Office Manager for U.S. Agri- Chemicals. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and the Bartow Lioness Club. She enjoyed taking care of people and organizing things. She was preceded in death by her husband Royce Altman, sons James R. Altman & Martin L. Altman, sisters Louise McDuffie, Gladys Howell, Dorothy Ford & Marilyn Lunn and brothers James K. Martin, Robert E. Martin & William R. Martin. She is survived by her son Thomas Altman, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and daughters-in-laws Lisa Olson and Sara Altman. Family will receive friends Monday, February 9, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.
