Marcella Smith

Marcella Smith, age 87, passed away Friday, January 15, 2015 at her home in Fort Meade. Born February 20, 1928 in Narcoosee, FL, she was the daughter of the late Marvid Daniel and Minnie Janie (Howard) Wyser. Marcella was a homemaker and a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. She is preceded in death by her husband William Reuben Smith and her daughter Emmy Lou Smith. She is survived by five daughters: Kathy D. Hollis of Fort Meade, Jane Thompson of Winter Haven, Ann Jones of Fort Meade, Cindy Long of Brooksville, and Margaret Foster of Fort Meade. She also leaves behind her sister Ruby Lawry of Citra, FL, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 17th from 2pm to 4pm at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 18th at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade.
