Bartow - Manuel Rodriguez, age 89, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at his residence in Bartow. Born Sunday, March 03, 1929 in San Benito, TX, Mr. Rodriguez was a resident of Bartow for 46 years. He was a harvester with the citrus industy, and was preceded in death by his beloved wife Josefina. He was of Catholic Faith. He is survived by his Daughter, Oralia Cruz, Bartow, FL, Son, Manuel Rodriguez, Jr., Lakeland, FLDaughter, Sylvia Fernandez, Bartow, FL Daughter, Irene Rodriguez, Bartow, FL. Daughter, Rosabal Rodriguez, Bartow, FL. 15 Grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren. He touched the lives of many and will be missed. Family will receive friends Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 01, 2018, at 11:00 AM at La Mission de Guadalupe Catholic Church Interment will be held at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
